Direction from Kings Cross station – short walk
Take the exit for Grays Inn Road. When you come out this exit McDonalds will be on your right. (There are two McDonalds at Kings Cross, you need the one beside the Post office). Continue straight ahead. Past the bureau de change and past KFC, both will be on your right. The road naturally goes to the right, this is Grays Inn Road. Ashlee House is 100 meters up the road on the right.
Directions from airports
As evident from following, Ashlee House Hostel is extremely well serviced by a wide variety of public transport.
From Heathrow Airport:
Take the underground (Piccadilly Line) from the airport to King's Cross.
Cost £4.00 one way journey time approx. 1 hour.
Trains leave every 5- 10 minutes.
From Gatwick Airport:
Catch Gatwick Express to Victoria station.
Trains depart every 15 minutes and the journey takes 30 minutes. Tickets cost £16.90 single and £28.80 return.
From Luton Airport:
Take the First Capital Connect direct to St. Pancras.
Again trains depart every 15 minutes and tickets cost £11.50 single and £20.50 return.
From Stansted Airport:
Take the Stansted Express to Tottenham Hale or go to Liverpool Station.
Change at Tottenham Hale and take the Victoria Line to King's Cross (£4.00).
Trains depart from Stansted every 15 minutes and tickets cost £19.00 one way or £28.80 return. Travel time 46 min
Directions from main train stations
From Victoria Station:
Take the Victoria Line direct to King's Cross (four stops).
Trains depart every 5 minutes and tickets cost £4.00 single.
From Waterloo Station:
Take the Bakerloo Line to Oxford Circus then change onto the Victoria line north to King’s Cross.
Trains depart every 5 minutes and tickets cost £4.00 single.
From Paddington Station:
Take the Circle or Hammersmith & City line east to King’s Cross. Trains depart every 5 minutes and tickets cost £4.00 single.
From Liverpool Street Station:
Take the Circle, Hammersmith & City or Metropolitan line west to King’s Cross. Trains depart every 5 minutes and tickets cost £4.00 single.
